Central Texas Autism Center Hosts Second Annual Verbal Behavior Conference in Austin

The Central Texas Autism Center (CTAC) is proud to host the Second Annual Verbal Behavior Conference in Austin on April 4-5, at the start of Autism Awareness Month. The Verbal Behavior Conference brings together top leaders in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis, Verbal Behavior, and the treatment of people with Autism and other Developmental Disabilities. Last year, the conference brought 330 attendees from 23 states, while this year’s conference already has over 500 registrants from 5 countries.

The conference features pioneers in the fields of Verbal Behavior and Applied Behavior Analysis — offering an unparalleled opportunity for practitioners, therapists, teachers, and researchers to learn from the experts.

Speakers will include Vincent J. Carbone, Ed.D., BCBA-D; Patrick McGreevy, Ph.D., BCBA-D; Judah Axe, Ph.D., BCBA-D, LABA; Mark L. Sundberg, Ph.D., BCBA-D, author of the VB-MAPP; Tamara Kasper, MS, CCC-SLP, BCBA; and Francesca Degli Espinosa, Ph.D., BCBA-D. No other conference or event offers the opportunity to learn from such an esteemed group of leaders at the cutting edge of research into treatment of people with Autism and other Developmental Disabilities.

Over the course of the conference, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about new research in the field, network with one of the largest assembled groups of practitioners, and hone their abilities with new research-backed techniques aimed at improving outcomes for the clients in their care.
