These investments are aimed at using technology to spur advances in healthcare quality, but many practitioners have questioned, “Is this too much, too fast?” The Central Illinois EHR/HIE Summit will focus on:

how the coming changes can impact patient care; what physicians will need to do in order to access stimulus dollars; and where support is being provided throughout the transition to electronic health records and health information exchange.

Physicians, residents, medical students, nurses, allied health professionals, administrators, practice managers, and business/community leaders are encouraged to attend.
