LOUIS, Oct. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Cejka Search, a nationally recognized physician and healthcare executive search firm, recently announced that several of its leaders will be delivering featured presentations at three upcoming industry conferences: The Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) 2007 Annual Conference, the American College of Physician Executives (ACPE) Fall Institute and the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) 2008 Congress on Healthcare Leadership.
MGMA 2007 Annual Conference
Carol Westfall, president of Cejka Search, and Barbara Walters, DO, MBA, senior medical director at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, will present "Physician Leadership ... An Untapped Resource Awaiting Development and Deployment" on October 31 at the MGMA 2007 Annual Conference in Philadelphia. The session will provide tools for identifying leadership potential and fostering physician leadership involvement in a medical group. The presentation will be interactive and include discussion and case studies from other medical groups.
Additionally, Mary Barber, vice president of candidate acquisition and marketing for Cejka Search, will present "Attracting Young Physicians: How the Rules Have Changed" at the conference on October 28. The presentation will address common challenges medical groups face in reaching young physicians, types of technology they can use to improve recruitment and how groups can implement new strategies into their recruitment and retention plans.
ACPE Fall Institute
Ms. Westfall will serve as faculty for the ACPE Fall Institute's "Managing Physician Performance in Organizations," in Tucson, Ariz. November 13 and 14. Ms. Westfall will present "Compensation in Organizations: Lining Up What You Want with What You Pay For." The program will assist physician executives in designing and implementing compensation plans aligned with their organizations' expectations.
