Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Names Beverly Hills Plastic Surgeon Dr. Andrew Cohen as Chief of the Center for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery

Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Andrew Cohen, MD has become the Chief of the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. Dr. Cohen has been affiliated with Cedars-Sinai since 2001 and is renowned for the successful results he has achieved, particularly with difficult and complex cases.

(Vocus) April 6, 2010 -- Dr. Andrew Cohen had been on the staff at Cedars-Sinai as a plastic and reconstructive surgeon since 2001 and had distinguished himself as a leader in his field during that time. He was voted on by his peers as the Chief of the Division of Plastic Surgery.

In addition to his skills as a Beverly Hills breast augmentation, facial rejuvenation, and body contouring specialist, Dr. Cohen is renowned for his expertise in reconstructive surgery. Dr. Cohen says reconstruction procedures are an important aspect of plastic surgery, one that can help patients achieve better function, in addition to form. “Plastic surgery is more than just… breast [surgery and liposuction. It also entails reconstructive surgery, burn surgery, breast reconstruction, cleft lips, cleft palates, 'and' reconstruction after traumas.” Dr. Cohen has volunteered his reconstructive surgery expertise in humanitarian missions to South America to perform cleft lip and cleft palate surgery on children who often do not have access to such treatment.
