Catalent Pharma Solutions, a leading global drug development and advanced delivery technology company, today announced that it has created a new business unit, Advanced Delivery Technologies, which aligns the existing Modified Release and Medication Delivery businesses, including Catalent’s growing Biologics technologies and capabilities. To address complex drug development challenges and provide broader customer solutions, the new unit will focus on innovative and proven drug delivery technologies, optimizing the company’s multiple technologies, investment in capabilities, cross-platform R&D solutions and global commercial manufacturing network.

This structure will establish Catalent’s Softgel Technologies, Advanced Delivery Technologies and Development & Clinical Services business units as global leaders in their respective markets.
