Castle Connolly Medical Ltd. Partners with DrScore.com to Provide Additional Quality Information About Doctors to Consumers
Date:10/9/2007

r, Top Doctors: New York Metro Area and other consumer health guides and is also the leading partner with national and regional magazines for "top doctors" feature articles. Its valuable database of more than 21,000 top doctors appears online at its Web site. Doctors do not pay to be included in any Castle Connolly Guide or list.

"We're pleased to partner with Castle Connolly," said Steven R. Feldman, M.D., president, CEO and founder of DrScore, and a professor at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, NC. "By compiling quality metrics from both patients and the medical community, we will be giving readers the most precise and comprehensive data available about the American medical community." DrScore was founded to provide a thoughtful, measured way for patients to give detailed feedback on several different areas of interaction with the practice, physicians, nurses and administrative staff. By allowing patients to rate their doctors, those seeking medical care are given real-world insight into potential healthcare providers, and medical practices are given a low-cost alternative for measuring and improving patient satisfaction. Doctors do not pay to be included in DrScore's rating system, but they can purchase customized reports that detail their own patients' comments. DrScore and its Web site are owned and operated by Medical Quality Enhancement Corp., a privately held company based in Winston-Salem. Since 2005, more than 37,000 patient satisfaction surveys have been gathered at http://www.DrScore.com.
