Date:10/9/2007

NEW YORK, and WINSTON-SALEM, N.C., Oct. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Castle Connolly Medical Ltd. announced today that it will join forces with DrScore.com to bring valuable new quality information on doctors to visitors to their respective Web sites, http://www.CastleConnolly.com and http://www.DrScore.com. Visitors on Castle Connolly's Web site who are searching for "top doctors" will now have the option to also rate these and other physicians they have been to as patients, as well as to see if these physicians have been rated previously by other consumers. And visitors to DrScore.com will be able to see if their doctors and/or other doctors are Castle Connolly "top doctors." In addition, visitors directed to CastleConnolly.com from DrScore.com will be offered discounts on Premium Memberships that will give them access to the full 21,000+ Castle Connolly "top doctors" database.

"With the ever-increasing emphasis on consumer-driven healthcare and other efforts to empower consumers to have greater control of their healthcare, the ability to see both physician peer-ratings and consumer-based ratings of doctors becomes a critical factor in decision-making for most Americans," said John Connolly, Ed.D., president and CEO of Castle Connolly. Founded in 1991 with the mission to help consumers find the best healthcare, the company surveys tens of thousands of physicians annually in private practice and in medical leadership positions at hospitals to solicit their nominations of regional and national top doctors. Castle Connolly's physician-led research team then conducts further research, reviews and screens nominations, and collects information directly from physicians before selecting those most outstanding and worthy of being considered Castle Connolly Top Doctors. The company publishes the acclaimed America's Top Doctors(R), America's Top Doctors(R) for Cancer, Top Doctors: New York Metro Area and other consumer health guides and is also the leading partner with national and regional magazines for "top doctors" feature articles. Its valuable database of more than 21,000 top doctors appears online at its Web site. Doctors do not pay to be included in any Castle Connolly Guide or list.

"We're pleased to partner with Castle Connolly," said Steven R. Feldman, M.D., president, CEO and founder of DrScore, and a professor at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, NC. "By compiling quality metrics from both patients and the medical community, we will be giving readers the most precise and comprehensive data available about the American medical community." DrScore was founded to provide a thoughtful, measured way for patients to give detailed feedback on several different areas of interaction with the practice, physicians, nurses and administrative staff. By allowing patients to rate their doctors, those seeking medical care are given real-world insight into potential healthcare providers, and medical practices are given a low-cost alternative for measuring and improving patient satisfaction. Doctors do not pay to be included in DrScore's rating system, but they can purchase customized reports that detail their own patients' comments. DrScore and its Web site are owned and operated by Medical Quality Enhancement Corp., a privately held company based in Winston-Salem. Since 2005, more than 37,000 patient satisfaction surveys have been gathered at http://www.DrScore.com.
