Caregiver's Touch Empowers Families with an Organizational Wellness Solution

New iTunes App, Web Site Puts Critical Information in Caregivers' Hands

(Vocus) May 26, 2010 -- Caregiver’s Touch (, a safe and simple web-based solution for caregivers to organize, access and securely share a loved one’s information, today announced the launch of its online and smartphone tools. Both options offer caregivers an extensive resource to enter and retrieve a wide range of critical information on the move and share information with others as needed.

“Nearly 80% of all care in America is provided by informal caregivers — daughters, sons, husbands, wives, parents — each of whom have their own responsibilities to manage in addition to caring for their loved ones,” said Dan Henderson, Caregiver’s Touch co-founder. “Juggling all of these responsibilities can be emotionally overwhelming and considerably challenging to manage, whether you need to pay a bill, visit the doctor or remember allergies to specific medications. Caregiver’s Touch is designed to organize all of this critical information in one secure location for you to access whenever and wherever you need it.”

Subscribing to Caregiver's Touch enables members to organize appointments, schedules, contacts and other critical information including financial, insurance, and medical details. Trial versions of Caregiver’s Touch are available for free in both online and iPhone formats. Full versions offer up to six profiles with free updates and enhancements. Online membership is $19.95 per month or $199.95 per year. The iPhone application is a one-time membership fee of $4.99.

“Caregiver's Touch is not just a great site, but a marvelous solution to family communication about those who matter the most to us,” described Chris Conant, an early tester and user of Caregiver’s Touch. “The site is very simple to navigate, and helps accomplish in seconds what typically requires phone call after email after message after additional phone call. Caregiver's Touch has gone above and beyond in creating a simple, quick way to share information, data, and vital statistics about loved ones.”

Accessing Caregiver’s Touch requires every member and visitor to enter a unique password to access the website or smartphone application, with additional password-protected areas within the tool. All information entered into the website is also protected through Secure Socket Layer (SSL) security.
