Date:12/6/2013

Provo, UT (PRWEB) December 06, 2013

Career Step, an online provider of career-focused education and corporate training, is pleased to announce that Stephen Spain, MD, CPC—Career Step’s physician advisor—will be joining the ICD10monitor editorial board. Career Step is currently a Silver Sponsor of ICD10monitor, which is an online news and information source created to help healthcare providers make decisions related to the mandated ICD-10 transition.

Dr. Spain is a family physician with over 30 years of practice experience. He earned his Certified Professional Coder (CPC) credential in 2007 and is the immediate past president of the Tyler Chapter of the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC), recently served as a member of the National Advisory Board of the AAPC, and teaches advanced medical coding at Tyler Junior College.
