Provo, Utah (PRWEB) August 17, 2009 -- Career Step, a leading online healthcare education company, has partnered with the State University of New York (SUNY) Orange County Community College in Middletown, N.Y. to offer training to individuals interested in pursuing careers in medical transcription.

"We are pleased to announce our partnership with SUNY Orange and excited about the training opportunities this will create for students," said Career Step's Vice President of Business Services, Cameron Loflin. "This partnership will allow SUNY Orange students to train for promising careers in medical transcription with the convenience and flexibility of an online education option."

SUNY Orange has partnered with Career Step in order to better meet the needs of individuals and businesses within the county. Linda Gramm, Program Coordinator in the SUNY Orange Continuing and Professional Education Department, said that the school is partnering with Career Step to provide a solid training option for individuals returning to the workforce, displaced workers, and individuals with disabilities.
