Provo, Utah (PRWEB) June 1, 2009 -- Career Step, a leading healthcare education company, has partnered with Clinton Community College in Plattsburgh, N.Y. to offer training to individuals interested in pursing careers in medical transcription and medical coding and billing.

"We're excited about the career education opportunities our partnership will bring to the students of Clinton Community College," said Career Step's Vice President of Business Services, Cameron Loflin. "Through our partnership with CCC, students will gain the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in the growing fields of medical transcription and medical coding and billing."

Career Step's courses will be the first programs offered entirely online through Clinton Community College's continuing education department. The college will be the exclusive provider of Career Step training in the Plattsburg area, and the courses will have an open enrollment format, allowing students training flexibility to match their schedules.

"We researched other medical coding and billing and transcription programs and found that Career Step provided the best support to students," said Clinton Community College's Assistant in Continuing Education, Kathleen Stone. "I was impressed with the ease of the online course management system and the additional support provided to students after they complete the course."

Clinton Community College will be holding an Open House on June 3 for those interested in learning more about the advantages of training through Clinton Community College's Career Step offerings and the attractive career opportunities in the fields of medical transcription a
