Career Step Launches New Training Program for Careers in Secure Healthcare Industry

Career Step, a leader in the healthcare documentation training industry, will release a new Medical Coding and Billing online training program the first week of March. This program was developed in collaboration with industry experts and employers to train Career Step graduates for careers in the growing medical coding and billing industry.

Springville, Utah (PRWEB) March 4, 2009-- Career Step, a leader in the healthcare documentation training industry, will release a new Medical Coding and Billing online training program the first week of March. This program was developed in collaboration with industry experts and employers to train Career Step graduates for careers in the growing medical coding and billing industry.

"We've developed our new Medical Coding and Billing program in response to the needs of industry employers," says Celeste Harjehausen, Career Step's chief operating officer. "Despite the economic downturn, there is still strong, growing demand for skilled medical coding and billing professionals. Graduates of Career Step's program will be equipped with the knowledge and tools to excel within the industry."

The new Medical Coding and Billing program builds upon an earlier medical coding career training program, released in 2004. The new program features expanded curriculum and enhancements, including training on medical billing procedures. Partnerships with industry experts and employers, as well as feedback and suggestions from more than 2,300 students who trained in the earlier course, helped shape the new program.
