CardioVet Introduces New Wireless Digital ECG Device to the Veterinary Market to Facilitate Cardiology Telemedicine Services
Date:12/10/2013

Spring, TX (PRWEB) December 10, 2013

CardioVet has just released a new ECG acquisition device to the veterinary market. The new CardioVet wireless ECG device is designed to allow veterinary clinics and hospitals to rapidly acquire ECG's on their veterinary patients and submit the data to the CardioVet secure servers wirelessly. Clinics submitting ECG's will get an interpretation of the findings along with appropriate treatment recommendations from one of CardioVet's board certified veterinary cardiologists. Results and recommendations can be obtained in minutes depending on the urgency of the case.

CardioVet is a subsidiary of PetRays Telemedicine. PetRays provides hundreds of thousands of telemedince consults annually to veterinary clinics globally. "The two year R&D phase has been worth the wait" said Fred Buttaccio of PetRays. The new ECG device is wireless and communicates via Bluetooth technology to CardioVet PC based software or to IOS devices with the CardioVet ECG App that will be available in the App Store in a few days.

"With our device being lighter, faster, better, and less expensive than other telemedicine options, CardioVet is clearly at the forefront of technology in this market" said Buttaccio.

The CardioVet ECG device and service are intended exclusively for the veterinary market and not intended for human use. The ECG devices will begin shipping this month and can be purchased at the CardioVet website.
