Cardinal Health Announced as Title Sponsor of the Health Connect Partners' 2009 Fall Hospital Pharmacy Conference

LEBANON, Tenn., July 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Health Connect Partners, Inc. (www.hlthcp.com) announced today that Cardinal Health has been named the title sponsor of its 2009 Fall Hospital Pharmacy Conference.

The Hospital Pharmacy Conference is expecting up to 200 directors of pharmacy from some of the largest hospitals and health systems in the country. In addition to educational sessions led by healthcare industry experts, the Hospital Pharmacy Conference will offer a unique reverse expo format.

"We design our conferences to ensure a win-win experience for the directors of pharmacy as well as the suppliers and vendors," said Jason Green, president of pharmacy conferences for Health Connect Partners. "The reverse expo format allows vendors, suppliers and manufacturers to visit booths hosted by hospital pharmacy executives. This provides the suppliers more of an opportunity to network with key decision makers, and hospital executives earn continuing education (CEU) credits by participating in our educational sessions."

The presenters, moderators and panelists for the educational sessions are all members of Health Connect Partners' exclusive Educational Advisory Board or specifically requested experts in a particular field.

The 2009 Fall Hospital Pharmacy Conference will be held at the Marriott Tampa Waterside in Tampa, Fla., on September 21-23, 2009. Health Connect Partners will also host a Radiology and Imaging Conference at the Marriott on September 23-25.

The 2010 spring conferences will both be held in San Diego. The 2010 Spring Pharmacy Conference is scheduled for April 12-14 and the 2010 Spring Radiology and Imaging Conference is scheduled for April 15-17.
