Date:2/5/2013

idScan® GO, puts efficient scanning capabilities into the palm of one’s hand. This native iOS application controls the camera on a mobile device and with OCR web services, idScan® GO is able to capture images of ID size documents, perform OCR data extraction as well as auto parsing of the image. This application supports driver's licenses from all across the globe and saves information on the mobile device with the time and the date enabling the user to keep updated records of vital ID information. The benefits include reduced human error of typing the information manually, saved time, accurate record keeping and a paperless environment. CSSN is also planning to release a new mobile solution during Q2, MedicScan® GO, which will enable the processing of medical cards on a mobile device.

HIMSS focuses on the betterment of healthcare by providing global leadership for the optimal use of information technology and management systems. CSSN’s MedicScan® solution has contributed extensively to the medical field and they have integrated this OCR software with a wide variety of companies. This insurance card scanner system for medical insurance cards automates and speeds up the process of transferring data and images into electronic format. The scanning and image processing are fully automatic which means that the scan process starts immediately upon the insertion of a card into the medical card scanner and the image processing takes place simultaneously in the background. The card's image is then stored locally on a PC, or it is exported automatically to various applications. MedicScan® brings the paperless office revolution to one’s front desk, significantly increasing efficiency and productivity. With CSSN’s comprehensive OCR SDK (Software Developer Kit) and high level support, users can easily incorporate this reading technology directly into their existing software application.

CSSN also offers a wide variety of hardware
