Prairie Living at Chautauqua – a BMA affordable assisted living community – is hosting a back-to-school celebration from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 15.
The community, which is located at 955 Villa Ct. in Carbondale, Illinois, serves older adults of all incomes, including those on Medicaid, who need some help to maintain their independence.
Outdoor games are planned for the event, and our staff will cook on the grill and serve ice cream.
Guests are asked to bring one school supply item. Prairie Living is collecting supplies for students from the Carbondale and Murphysboro school districts.
