Capterra Research Determines the Top 20 Mental Health Software Solutions
Date:8/14/2014

Arlington, VA (PRWEB) August 14, 2014

Capterra, an online service that helps people find the right business software, published a new infographic today: The Top 20 Mental Health Software. This study is the newest addition in a series of Top 20 Software infographics, and ranks Mental Health software by market popularity. TherapyNotes, Qualifacts, and CounSol claimed the top 3 spots.

Mental and Behavioral Health software allows therapists and medical professionals to provide the best care possible by managing billing and invoicing, appointment scheduling, claims management, and providing assessment and treatment diagnostic tools to ensure each patient receives the attention he needs. Many solutions also offer document management, important for tracking progress notes and group therapy sessions.

“This area of medicine is not as black and white as so many others, so software especially geared for Mental Health is really important to give therapists proper support,” said Capterra President and CEO, Michael Ortner. “These solutions provide administrative functions to save time, but also offer a lot of decision tools to make sure patients are receiving the right level of care.”

These rankings were determined using Capterra’s Popularity Index – a weighted and ranked score that includes number of customers, number of users, and social presence. Marketing Automation, Event Management, and Help Desk Management are some of the other industries recently featured in this Top 20 series.

“The mental health industry has been largely paper-based until just the last few years. As care providers realize more and more how important it is to adopt electronic records, Mental Health Software is going to really take off,” said Ortner.
