re in Jacksonville."

"I work at CapitalSouth because we have the ability to use our knowledge to help businesses grow," said Coble. "Most big banks have a box; your customer needs must fit that box, or there is no fit for you. That is not true at CapitalSouth."

CapitalSouth Bank prides itself on meeting the needs of small to medium- sized businesses in the markets it serves by offering Small Business Administration (SBA) lending services and other loan programs for business owners through its Business Capital Group, which operates through full-service offices and the loan production office. The Company also provides Internet banking services at http://www.capitalsouthbank.com as well as personal investment services.

Sandy Bartow, Executive Director of the Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce's Small Business Center, said, "I am happy to hear of CapitalSouth's commitment to small business and hope their presence in our city will further support the thriving small business market and our rapidly growing base of entrepreneurs. We are pleased to welcome them to our community as additional resource for developing new career and leadership opportunities."

Toy Drive to Mark Grand Opening

To celebrate the arrival of CapitalSouth in the Jacksonville market, each branch will be holding a holiday toy drive to benefit children being treated at Shands Jacksonville, the largest of nine hospitals in the Shands HealthCare family and affiliated with the University of Florida. CapitalSouth will match toy-for-toy what the community graciously donates.

"These toys will be an inspiration of hope for these children," said Jennifer L. Russ, Manager of Annual Fund, Shands Jacksonville. "The Child Life Program at Shands Jacksonville works to meet the challenge of assisting children and families in coping with the emotional and psychosocial issues inherent in medical care."
