Toy Drive to Benefit Shands Jacksonville-Marks Grand Opening Celebration

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Nov. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- CapitalSouth Bank will officially dedicate its new Mandarin branch today in Jacksonville. Community leaders, Company executives and bank employees will attend the grand opening event this morning, which will include a ceremonial ribbon-cutting to mark the official opening of the facility and the Company's expanded presence in Jacksonville.

In September, CapitalSouth Bancorp (Nasdaq: CAPB) announced that the Company had completed its merger with Monticello Bancshares, Inc. The merger added two banking offices for CapitalSouth Bank in Jacksonville, which will operate under the CapitalSouth name, giving the bank a total of three locations in Jacksonville and greatly increasing the convenience available to clients in the market.

Currently, CapitalSouth's Mandarin, Deerwood and Jacksonville Beach locations are home to over 35 employees. The company plans to open a fourth branch in San Marco this December.
