Capital BlueCross Receives Prestigious Brand Excellence Award From The Blue Cross & Blue Shield Association

HARRISBURG, Pa., March 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Capital BlueCross was awarded a Blue Cross & Blue Shield Association Brand Excellence Award for Member Recommendation, a category for achieving a high percentage of members who would recommend the plan to someone they knew.

The Brand Excellence Award follows Capital BlueCross recently being voted the leading health insurer in every 2008 Who's Who and People's Choice consumer preference survey in its region, including Harrisburg, Lancaster, York, Reading and the Lehigh Valley. Capital BlueCross won the consumer preference awards by a large margin over all other insurers, and has consistently won these awards for more than a decade.
