Cancer Survivor Physician Writes Book: Conquering the Game of Life

NORFOLK, Va., June 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Dr. C. K. Hersh has released a new book Conquering the Game of Life. He shares life stories and a unique perspective to catapult the reader to create and live the game of life that they desire.

Dr. C. K. Hersh, a Norfolk orthopedic hand surgeon, releases a self help book that shares his health experiences and personal journey to help the reader capture and play the game of life they desire. The book includes a workbook to help the reader structure their game of life.

Conquering the Game of Life is a book that will entertain the reader and ask questions that creates an inner focus to help the reader capture the game of life they desire. Dr. C. K. Hersh was diagnosed with cancer at a young age and he shares his experiences and perspective on the journey of life. His insights were further accelerated by the loss of his father two years after his cancer treatment and C.K.'s mother died two years later. With many significant life changes in a very short period of time C. K. set out on a journey of self-discovery that he shares with the reader.

The reader is asked questions throughout the entertaining stories to gain their own insights and experiences. The book includes a workbook that allows the reader to formulate their own life game plan.

C. K. Hersh lives in Portsmouth, Virginia, in a historic neighborhood. He enjoys his time with his wife and two children. From an early age, he wanted to be a physician, and he currently practices orthopedic hand surgery in Norfolk, Virginia. He has worked in the United States Navy and has served as a business consultant. A runner and novice triathlete, he's also a cancer survivor who lost both his parents in a short period. His experiences in his forties set him on a journey of self-discovery and growth that he shares through sports analogies that help others learn to enjoy each moment of life and realize increased peace.
