Cancer Book Honored With Prestigious Mom's Choice Award

Clumsy Ducks Publishing announces the winning of the Mom's Choice Award for its 2008 title, 'My Angels Are Come,' by author Art Stump. The award-winning book, a remarkably frank account of prostate cancer survival, is honored by the recognition of the Mom's Choice Awards organization.

South Bend, IN (PRWEB) March 19, 2009 -- The Mom's Choice Awards is an established benchmark for excellence in family-friendly media products. The winning title, 'My Angels Are Come,' is a book about cancer survival. It chronicles with remarkable candor the author's encounter with prostate cancer. Writing with forthright honesty, Mr. Stump tells his deeply personal story in journal format, stepping the reader through every aspect of his cancer experience.

An avid technophile, Mr. Stump was fascinated throughout his treatment program by the wealth of technology surrounding him at the host hospital system, Memorial Hospital of South Bend, Indiana. In the book's narrative, however, he turns his attention time and again 'without apology' to the sheer radiance of those who reach to help.
