Camp Courage Open Set for July 21
Date:6/12/2008

13th annual golf event supports Courage Center Camps

MINNEAPOLIS, June 12 /PRNewswire/ -- The 13th annual Camp Courage Open is set for Monday, July 21, 2008, at the St. Cloud Country Club. Golfers will enjoy a day filled with great golf while helping raise money for a great cause -- Courage Center's Camp Courage.

Registration and lunch begin at 11 a.m., with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. Cost per golfer is $150 or $600 for a foursome. All proceeds from the tournament benefit Courage Center's camping programs. Golf foursomes and tournament sponsorships are still available. Registration deadline is July 11.

The St. Cloud Country Club in St. Cloud, Minn., was designed by Tim Murphy, and opened in 1919. This private championship course is nestled along the Mississippi River, among rolling hills and woods. The round of golf at this challenging course is followed by a delicious dinner and short program.

For more information or to register contact Jacob Johnson at 763-520-0365 or jacob.johnson@CourageCenter.org.

Courage Center Camps -- Camp Courage, Courage North and Regional programming -- are part of Courage Center, a nonprofit rehabilitation and resource center for people of all ages and abilities who are experiencing barriers to health and independence. Since 1955, Courage Camps have provided camping programs for children, teens and adults with disabilities. Campers learn, grow, make friends and have fun in safe and accessible natural settings. We serve children and adults with physical disabilities; and youth with speech and language impairments, and who are deaf and hard of hearing.
