Camera Equipped Polycom VVX Media Phones for End to End Communications Launched by BroadConnect Telecom

BroadConnect Telecom also publicized plans to provide support for end-to-end, high definition video solutions for their hosted PBX consumers using services engineered around the high-performing Polycom® VVX Business Media Phone and the Polycom® VVX® Camera, which utilizes advanced plug-and-play technology to intelligently convert existing Polycom® VVX 500 and 600 Business Media Phones into budget friendly, high-quality video collaboration solutions. This voice and video environment is achieved by installing the 720p HD video camera into the onboard USB port at the top of each phone. Since there is no requirement to install software drivers, users can begin experiencing high-resolution video conferencing almost instantly. Deployment is easy and cost-efficient since the service is capable of operating over existing VoIP networks. Furthermore, in addition to the Polycom VVX® 500 and the Polycom VVX 600, BroadConnect also provides support for face-to-face video conferencing solutions using the Polycom® VVX® 1500 Business Media Phone. BroadConnect`s client base has found that with these video-enabled Polycom devices they gain access to intelligent, scalable, business-grade phones capable of greatly enhancing productivity and streamlining workflows as a result of a unified communications environment.
