Cambridge House of Maryville Affordable Assisted Living Receives Deficiency-Free Survey

For the sixth year in a row, Cambridge House of Maryville has been awarded a deficiency-free survey by the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS).

The affordable assisted living community, which is located in Maryville, Illinois, serves older adults of all incomes and is managed by BMA Management, Ltd., the largest provider of assisted living in Illinois.

HFS is responsible for regulating Cambridge House and other communities that operate through the Illinois Supportive Living Program.

Cambridge House received the recognition after earning the deficiency-free score on its 2013 Healthcare and Family Services survey. The perfect survey results reflect efforts the community makes to meet industry standards and regulations while continuing to put residents first.

"Our emphasis at Cambridge House is helping residents maintain as much independence as possible for as long as possible by providing love, compassion and dignity in addition to the care and assistance they need," says Administrator Tracy Skaer-Henry.

“As an affordable assisted living community," she says, "we are proud of our ability to continue serving older adults of all incomes with the best possible assistance to ensure they live the best life possible in the comfort of their own apartment.”

Skaer-Henry described Cambridge House as a great alternative to nursing home care or to struggling alone at home for older adults who need some assistance to maintain their independence, but
