California Dental Group’s 8th Annual Dentistry Event on Sunday, September 29, 2013 to Provide No Cost Emergency Dental Care to Patients in Eagle Rock, CA
Date:9/24/2013

Eagle Rock, CA (PRWEB) September 24, 2013

On Sunday, September 29, 2013, California Dental Group will open the doors of its Eagle Rock, CA office to anyone in need of emergency dental care. Patients who ordinarily can’t afford basic dental care will be given the opportunity to receive one free emergency dental treatment from an expert dentist in Eagle Rock CA. The clinic will start accepting patients at 8 am and serve as many as possible before closing at 3 pm.

The emergency dental treatments on offer will include:

  •     Fillings
  •     Emergency root canals
  •     Tooth extractions
  •     Toothache treatments
  •     Cleaning of infected gums

Patients attending the event will not be questioned about their ability to pay, and no one will be turned away. Anyone who attends the event but cannot be seen by the dentists due to time constraints will receive a voucher enabling them to receive their treatment on another day.

According to Dr. Kamran Sahabi, owner of California Dental Group, a surprising number of patients who visit California Dental Group can’t afford to have all of their dental issues treated. This unfortunate situation served as the inspiration for the clinic’s annual dentistry event, which has become a proud tradition for all seven California Dental Group locations.

Giving back to the community is important to Dr. Sahabi. His father back in Iran always stressed the importance of helping the needy, and Dr. Sahabi has definitely taken this to heart. He believes providing free dental care is an excellent way to help those in need, because the health and beauty of one’s teeth affect so many other aspects of one’s life.

In addition to being an opportunity to provide much-needed dental care to those who can’t afford treatment, the annual no cost dentistry events also serve as an opportunity to educate the public about the importance of proper dental care.

With good oral hygiene and regular visits to the dentist in Eagle Rock, CA, patients can avoid suffering from tooth decay and gum disease, as well as the serious conditions they can cause, such as cavities, infections, tooth loss, and increased risk for stroke and heart disease. Tooth decay and gum disease are both easily preventable. “If we can somehow transfer this knowledge, we can change people’s lives,” says Dr. Sahabi.

Annual dentistry events aren't the only way that California Dental Group assists those who may have trouble affording proper dental care. This network of dental offices also offers amazingly affordable $29 dental cleanings, plus their own in-house dental plan offering big savings on many dental procedures.
