California Dental Group Hosts 8th Annual Dentistry Event in North Hollywood CA Providing Emergency Dental Care at No Cost to Patients
Date:9/23/2013

North Hollywood, CA (PRWEB) September 23, 2013

California Dental Group will host a free dentistry event this Wednesday, September 25, 2013, between 8 am and 3 pm, at their North Hollywood CA clinic. Anyone suffering from a dental problem but unable to pay for treatment can come receive expert dental care at no cost to them during this event. No one will be turned away, but the treatments will be limited to one per patient.

The dental treatments on offer will include:

  •     Fillings
  •     Emergency root canals
  •     Tooth extractions
  •     Toothache treatments
  •     Cleaning of infected gums

Patients will see the dentist in North Hollywood CA on a first come, first served basis. If time constraints prevent a patient from receiving the treatment they need during the event, that patient will be issued a voucher entitling them to treatment on another day.

According to Dr. Kamran Sahabi, owner of California Dental Group, far too many patients postpone necessary dental procedures because they can’t afford them. California Dental Group’s annual dentistry events aim to change that. By removing cost of treatment from the equation, California Dental Group helps patients who ordinarily would not visit the dentist in North Hollywood CA to get the care they need.

Dr. Sahabi expects at least 1,000 patients to attend the dentistry events held at their seven clinics this year, but he is not worried about the costs incurred by his staff in providing this service. Instead, he views it as his privilege to give back to the community in this way.

Many of the emergency treatments that will be provided during this year’s free dentistry event stem from complications of what Dr. Sahabi describes as the two main problems in dentistry -tooth decay and gum disease. Both of these problems can contribute to tooth and gum pain and may eventually lead to tooth loss if left untreated.

The good news is that tooth decay and gum disease are both easily preventable with proper oral hygiene, including brushing and flossing daily and visiting the dentist in North Hollywood CA regularly. Dr. Sahabi points out that communicating this information is an important part of the annual dentistry events. “If we can somehow transfer this knowledge, we can change people’s lives,” Dr. Sahabi says.

Dentistry events are not the only way that California Dental Group assists those who may have trouble affording proper dental care. This network of dental offices also offers amazingly affordable $29 dental cleanings, plus their own in-house dental plan offering big savings on many dental procedures.
