Date:2/19/2009

SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- California attorneys and a presiding judge are among the who's who of asbestos litigators and notables that will assemble next month in Los Angeles to discuss emerging asbestos litigation trends and lessons learned from 2008.

Robert Berkes of Berkes Crane Robinson & Seal of Los Angeles will offer an insurer's perspective on asbestos litigation; Steven Kazan of Kazan McClain Abrams Lyons Greenwood & Harley of Oakland will participate in a session devoted to International Asbestos Claiming and Globalization; and Simona Farrise of the Farrise Law Firm in Santa Barbara, CA, will preside over a session on raw fiber suppliers.
