Collaboration Provides Consumers with Secure Access to their Health Information and the Ability to Manage their Information Online

WOONSOCKET, R.I., Oct. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- CVS Caremark today announced an extension to its partnership with Google Health, which will enable consumers who utilize the company's pharmacy benefit management services to securely store, organize and manage their prescription history information online. Consumers are now able to link their http://www.caremark.com account to Google Health in order to securely import their prescription history into their Google Health Personal Health Record (PHR). Access to this information can further facilitate and enhance communications between consumers and their health care providers.
