LONDON, March 3 /PRNewswire/ -- CMPMedica, the global healthcare information provider which is a division of United Business Media Limited, has signed an agreement with MAIDIS, the international healthcare software vendor, to provide an integrated medicine management system for two hospitals in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

CMPMedica's Integrated Data Solutions are already used in approximately 700 hospitals in France, 120 in Germany and Eastern Europe, and over 80 across the Asia Pacific region. These solutions, combined with local data in Arabic, will power MAIDIS' e-prescribing software and Electronic Medical Record in the UAE. CMPMedica and MAIDIS have been partners in France since 2004 and are expanding their relationship in the Middle East as demand for e-prescribing solutions grows.

Henry Elkington, CEO of CMPMedica said: "This new partnership demonstrates that we can address the needs of all solution providers in their international development by providing them with a common international platform combined with local data to deliver trusted decision tools."
