Date:10/24/2007

IRVINE, Calif., Oct. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- CME LLC (http://www.CMELLC.com), a leading provider of fully accredited continuing medical education programs since 1978, today announced it has been granted five-year full approval by the American Psychological Association (APA) as an approved sponsor of continuing medical education for APA members.

CME LLC received the five-year full approval as part of the APA's Continuing Education in Psychology (CEP) sponsor approval system, which recognizes organizations committed to providing high quality continuing professional education in psychology through its Continuing Education in Psychology Committee (CEPC). CME LLC has been an approved sponsor of continuing medical education for the APA since 1990, and this most recent five-year full approval status extends that status through August 2012.

"CME LLC offers hundreds of mental health continuing medical education events and related resources each year including the annual U.S. Psychiatric and Mental Health Congress, one of the largest continuing medical education events in the country focusing on mental health," said Niki Oquist, MD, FAAP and senior vice president of medical affairs for CME LLC.
