CDPHP is being recognized with the Advancement of Women in the WERCplace Award, honored for its longstanding commitment to helping women achieve financial independence and success. The award was presented to CDPHP at the Capital District Women’s Employment and Resource Center’s (WERC) 25th Anniversary Awards Luncheon.
“CDPHP is humbled and honored to be selected for this prestigious award,” said Barb Downs, chief operating officer, CDPHP. “We understand the importance of empowering women in the workplace, and are proud of the programs and initiatives created to help women reach their fullest potential.”
More than 70 percent of employees at CDPHP are female (57% of leadership team are women), and represent diverse cultural, educational and professional backgrounds. In addition to giving women the opportunity to grow professionally, CDPHP also encourages women to take care of their personal health and well-being, offering flexible work schedules, an onsite fitness center, as well as a variety of work-site wellness programs and health screenings.
