CCID Consulting Discusses China's Medical Equipment Market

BEIJING, Nov. 28 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- CCID Consulting, China's leading research, consulting and IT outsourcing service provider, and the first Chinese consulting firm listed in Hong Kong (Hong Kong Stock Exchange: HK08235), recently released its article on China's medical RF equipment market.

In 2007, the rapid development of the China's economy led to an increase in health awareness, which in turn drove the development of medical insurance policies. Benefiting from this, China's medical electronic market enjoyed continuous growth, with its market size reached 24.73 billion Yuan, up 17.3% year-on-year. A breakdown in market segments showed that electronic devices and equipments, RF equipments, ultrasonic equipment, laser instruments and equipments and biochemical analytical instruments were developed along different lines, with medical electronic products occupying the largest market share, an increase in the growth rate of medical RF equipments, and that new prospects were opening up for medical ultrasonic equipment.
