CHICAGO, Oct. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- CARE is pleased to announce that Dr. Helene Gayle, CARE President and CEO, is the keynote speaker at the inaugural event of the new Chicago Council on Global Affair's leadership series "The Women and Global Development Forum."

The forum was developed to engage Chicagoans in learning more about the vital role of women in development around the world. "As a leader in the movement to empower women and girls as a means of fighting global poverty, we are pleased to have Dr. Gayle kick off our new forum that will start the dialogue in Chicago on how women can - and already are - impacting global affairs," says Marshall M.
