Burner Balm Responds to Barrage of UK Protests Over New Lip Balm
Date:8/25/2009

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Burner Balm, a division of Pacific Shore Holdings, Inc. (PSH), has been under recent attack in the UK press as consumer groups question the company's marketing strategy of their new lip balm. Burner Balm is the first and only line of lip balms to incorporate energy boosting, appetite suppressing, and fat burning ingredients.

"The philosophy behind Burner Balm is clearly stated on our website," says Dr. Allan Kurtz. "The product has been developed by multiple doctors with a safe formula for patients who have repeatedly had low energy levels and are having problems controlling their appetite between meals."

"Our product can absolutely help men and women, currently on a healthy diet and exercise program, achieve their weight loss goals," says Matthew Mills, President of PSH. "Burner Balm contains an appetite suppressant that curbs between meal snacking when people often consume added calories with little or no nutritional value."

On February 25, 2009, the Harvard School of Public Health (HSPH) released findings from a two-year clinical trial concluding, "Diets that reduce calories lead to weight loss, regardless of carbohydrate, protein or fat content." According to Frank Sacks, lead author of the study and professor of cardiovascular disease prevention at HSPH, "This is important information for physicians, dieticians and adults, who should focus weight loss approaches on reducing calorie intake."

"We're not encouraging people to avoid eating," says Joey Valvo, Vice President of PSH. "We are providing a unique product that offers a solution for dieters. Rather than rely on high calorie choices for that afternoon energy boost or snack before dinner, consumers now have a zero calorie alternative, Burner Balm."

Pacific Shore Holdings, Inc. does not condone the use of Burner Balm for patients suffering from eating disorders.
