British Society Magazine Tatler Names Palm Beach's Anushka One of the Top Seven Spas in the World
Date:6/16/2009

Tatler calls Anushka the place where 'Lionesses of the New York Social Scene' join Palm Beach Pulitzer Girls in their endless quest for beauty.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., June 16 /PRNewswire/ --- Anushka (www.anushkaspa.com), the legendary spa icon that's graced the pages of nearly every major beauty magazine, was recently named the world's seventh best med spa by prestigious UK magazine Tatler.

Only minutes from Palm Beach at CityPlace, Anushka's posh new 12,000 square foot beauty mecca is a much expanded version of Anushka's renowned Spa, Salon and Cellulite Clinic in NYC and now boasts a cutting-edge medical wing.

The influential British society magazine focuses on the social trends of the upper class and annually compiles the much-coveted rankings of the world's top spas, hotels, and resorts. According to Tatler, Anushka is where "lionesses of the New York social scene come to get the perfect beach body."

Tatler named Anushka the "New York cellulite guru" who has been researching the problem for more than 3 decades and has pioneered many treatments, including her Model's Secret Slimmer. Anushka is one of the first to introduce SmoothShapes, the first FDA approved cellulite laser treatment.

Tatler also observed that Anushka's top 100 clients have access to a special spa hotline for last-minute appointments, every concierge service imaginable, limousines to five-star hotels at the nearby Breakers and Four Seasons, and complimentary private valet just steps from the front door.

"We're thrilled to be ranked amongst the world's most elite med spas," said Janice Worth, President and Co-Founder of Anushka. "Anushka's cutting-edge treatments, renowned staff of experts and world-class facility continues our storied legacy so evident in this prestigious Tatler recognition."

The retreat boasts 18 treatment rooms, 30 hairstyling stations, a state-of-the-art color cafe, and an uber-chic European nail lounge (inspired by a London nightclub). The advanced anti-aging medical center offers a full array of services from non-surgical rejuvenation (injectables and laser therapies) to plastic surgery under the watchful eye of triple board certified Daniel C. Morello, M.D., F.A.C.S., former president of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
