Suite Helps Organizations Meet HIPAA Compliance Requirements and Automate Billing, Claims, Enrollment and Eligibility

(PRWEB) November 23, 2009 -- BridgeGate International, a leading provider of high-performance data integration and interoperability solutions, announced today the launch of new products within its healthcare integration suite, designed to help providers and other healthcare organizations meet industry standards and interoperability requirements.

BridgeGate’s new products are designed to help healthcare organizations integrate their systems to meet HIPAA compliance requirements and to automate and streamline the billing, claims, enrollment and eligibility processes that are typically very time-consuming procedures. Until now, BridgeGate has had HIPAA compliance, billing, claims, enrollment and eligibility features wrapped into its core enterprise health platform. Now organizations have access to more focused and robust healthcare solutions as they invest in integration and interoperability projects.

Each component of the healthcare suite comes with robust integration capabilities, giving organizations a single, comprehensive integration platform that provides one view of all of their data. BridgeGate is offering the new healthcare products either as a subscription or traditional license model.

The new products within the BridgeGate Health integration suite includes:

  • BridgeGate HIPAA Compliance Framework – prepares organizations for HIPAA compliance with quick-to-implement data translation and validation processes for all HIPAA transactions and rules. This framework helps organizations migrate to HIPAA 5010, ICD-10 and any other evolving HIPAA standards.

  • BridgeGate Billing & Claims Module – helps organizations accurately exchange electronic billing and claims data with their partners, no matter the data format, which provides better visibility of the entire process. The module includes automated templates and workflows, along with an event management capability to correct any inaccurate data being sent or received.

  • BridgeGate Enrollment Module – provides quicker and easier on-boarding of new members with flexible data capture interfaces and better integration of all pertinent systems, providing subscriber and member information in one central, real-time repository.

  • BridgeGate Eligibility Module – quickly determines a member’s eligibility for specific procedures based upon diagnosis and other real-time supporting information, and obtains a member’s appropriate formulary information from the pharmacy benefit provider.

“With the United States focused on healthcare reform, providers of healthcare and health plans are looking for ways to stay ahead of change and integrate their systems and optimize procedures that lower insurance rates and reduce costs,” said David Adams, chief executive officer of BridgeGate International. “The expanded, more flexible BridgeGate Health suite helps them achieve these goals by providing an easy way for healthcare data to be passed back and forth between doctor’s offices, health insurance plans, third party administrators, hospitals and other organizations. No matter the format, BridgeGate can integrate an organization’s data – with any system, application, or partner, in a matter of days or weeks, when this has typically taken months or even years with other integration vendors.”
