Breakthrough Stroke Treatment Pioneered by Edward Tobinick M.D. and Taught at Neurological Wellness Center Results in Substantial Recovery Years After Stroke

Neurological Recovery Guide and Neurological Wellness Center have been facilitating recovery from stroke since 2010. This article by Dr. Tobinick appearing in Science Codex* and available on line chronicles the results of an observational study of 629 patients with stroke or traumatic brain injury (TBI) who were treated with perispinal injections of the drug etanercept. The average stroke victim was treated 42 months after suffering a stroke. This study, published in CNS Drugs details "statistically significant rapid improvement in motor impairment, spasticity, cognition etc. in the stroke group" and a "similar pattern of improvement in the TBI group". The article quotes Dr. Steve Ralph Associate Professor at Griffith University School of Medical Science in Australia.
