Breakfast Anyone? Lifestyle Foods Launches Two Energizing Snacks Containing Under 200 Calories
Date:7/8/2009

YORK, Pa., July 8 /PRNewswire/ -- When the alarm clock is screaming and exhaustion kicks in, there is often little room for making sophisticated breakfast decisions. Leading a healthy lifestyle can be a struggle when you're already running late for work and a donut or muffin is beckoning you on the road. After already launching a line of well-received healthy snacks for on-the-go convenience, Lifestyle Foods, Inc. presents the newest morning additions to its healthy line available now and geared toward consumers looking for nutritious options to fit their own style and schedule.

The Awake snack and Essential snack follow the same healthy trend set forth by the growing company in their previous offerings. The delectable combinations are also less than 200 calories per snack. The Awake snack combines crisp apple slices, red seedless grapes, an all-natural granola bar and a healthy trail mix with nuts, seeds and dried fruit in one convenient package. The Essential snack offers a filling combo of a mini honey wheat bagel, lite cream cheese, whole hard boiled egg, crisp apple slices and red seedless grapes. Each package separates the components for the highest quality of each ingredient and offers different style and nutrition tips to accompany a healthy regimen.

With a continued focus on the environmental sustainability, Lifestyle Foods has also implemented a new streamlined design to reduce the label size and amount of plastic consumed. The containers also utilize post-consumer recycled material in their construction, further decreasing the product line's overall environmental impact. Post-consumer plastics are made from materials that would otherwise end up in landfill sites.

Lifestyle Foods launched in 2006, expanding along the East Coast and filling a void in the marketplace to provide healthy grab-and-go consumer products in the perishable category. Their focus is to fit a new trendy, health-conscious generation of customers with whom the company itself can relate. The company's founder and CEO, Jason Bross, noticed an opening in the market for healthy, tasty and ready-to-eat products. Other products can be deceiving; offering convenience and not nutrition. This prompted the team to conduct worldwide research seeking healthy innovations. Continuing their research on what products customers crave, Lifestyle Foods provides new options with a variety of choices to fit any taste. The current offerings include Hollywood, Manhattan, Miami and Power Up snacks.
