aged by Dunga, who previously managed them. Following the World Cup struggles, Luiz Felipe Scolari was let go and the team will now rely on their former player that managed them from 2006 to 2010. The team, which is now ranked as the seventh best in the world in the FIFA/Coca Cola World Rankings, three spots lower than they were before the World Cup. Brazil will look to rebound in a big way when they play the nation that nearly pulled off the upset in Brazil.

Colombian soccer is once again considered to be one of the best ways to play football in the world. In the FIFA/Coca Cola World Rankings, Colombia is now ranked as the fourth best team in the world, up four spots from the last standings. Their showing in Brazil at the World Cup was impressive and considered one of the surprises. They will be led into this match by manager José Pékerman, who has been with the team since 2012. He will look to once again lead his team to a solid performance against the talent-rich Brazilian lineup on Sept. 5.

During the World Cup, Colombia was led by new Real Madrid-signee James Rodriguez. The 22-year-old won the Golden Boot in Brazil after scoring six goals in the tournament. That performance is what made the La Liga team give him big money to play in Spain. In 27 international caps, he has scored 11 goals. The team will also rely on players like Mario Yepes, Pablo Armero, Teófilo Gutiérrez, Fredy Guarin, and Juan Camilo Zúñiga.

The Brazilian national team will be led into this showdown with Colombia by David Luiz, Marcelo, Hulk, Thiago Silva, Oscar, Paulinho, Fernandinho, and Willian. The match will also give fans in the United States the chance to see someone new in goal for the Brazilians, as Julio Cesar retired, leaving either Jefferson or Victor to be the man in net.
