PITTSBURGH, Dec. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Bravo Health and West Penn Allegheny Health System (WPAHS) announced today that they will be jointly launching a number of new initiatives and senior-directed programs to help ensure that local Medicare beneficiaries have improved access and choice in their health care.
Bravo Health is a 100,000-member Medicare Advantage Plan serving Western Pennsylvania, among other markets. WPAHS includes some of the regions best-known medical facilities including two tertiary and four community hospitals and over 500 primary care and specialty physicians.

Best of all, Bravo members who live in Western Pennsylvania have access to quality WPAHS hospitals and physician practices, with low out-of- pocket expenses.
In addition, Bravo offers Part D prescription drug coverage covering medications that are purchased from a retail or mail-order pharmacy or through an institutional pharmacy for residents of a skilled nursing facility. Bravo also offers standalone prescription drug plans in Pennsylvania.
