Boot Camp Marketing Expert Bedros Keuilian Announces Premiere of New Spike TV Reality Show

Bedros Keuilian, founder of the Fit Body Boot Camp franchise and considered the leading boot camp marketing coach, often pushes his clients and mentees to push themselves beyond their comfort zones. But it was Keuilian who was asked to step outside the familiar when he was approached to act as a consultant to the new Spike TV reality series, Gym Rescue.

“While I wasn't much for being on the road for almost a month, living out of hotels and having ‘call times’ to answer to, the experience was fun,” says Keuilian. “I got to help some really nice gym owners, and Randy Couture, Frank Shamrock, and the entire production crew were great people to hang with.”

The show is similar to other “save my business” programs popular on many cable networks today, with “rescue team” taking on a new struggling gym for each episode. Keuilian was hired for his boot camp marketing expertise to help bring a little reality to the reality show.

“Basically, I was asked to find and hire some of the gym experts, bring industry congruency and fitness science to each episode, and help make the ‘rescue team’ look good,” says Keuilian.

As a fitness marketing coach and mentor, Keuilian helps his clients understand that extending themselves beyond their circles to share their knowledge and make themselves visible to the public can lead to exciting opportunities. Keuilian was an example of the truth of that when he was discovered by producers of the show.

“At some point, I asked a Spike TV executive how they had found me. He said; ‘We Googled fitness business expert and you came up,’ ” laughs Keuilian. “What they had found was a
