O'Brien graduated from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York with an MPA, Hospital Administration and earned his undergraduate degree from Georgetown University in Washington, DC with a BSBA, Accounting.
O'Brien lives with his wife, Eileen, in Scarsdale, New York, which is located approximately 35 minutes from the BSCHS office. They have three children and two grandchildren.
