O'Brien's impressive 37-year career in healthcare includes progressive responsibility and leadership positions in the areas of acute and long-term care operations, finance, strategy, physician relationships, service line management and managed care. He is a hands-on operational leader who devotes significant effort to building physician partnerships. O'Brien serves on a variety of boards and New York State committees. He has established many contacts and relationships in the medical community, and has also devoted a significant amount of effort to building physician partnerships over the course of his career.
O'Brien graduated from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York with an MPA, Hospital Administration and earned his undergraduate degree from Georgetown University in Washington, DC with a BSBA, Accounting.
