The Academy is a collaborative effort between partners in education and industry to motivate students early in their academic career in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM), which form the basis for many critical job skills.

The two-day event will host 36 middle and high school teachers who will take the knowledge to their students of aeronautics, engineering, nanotechnology, and other high-tech industries.

The Academy is sponsored by the Boeing Company, and is produced by the Maricopa Community Colleges. With generous support from Intel, teachers will receive ready-to-implement “Nanotechnology: Chemical Reactivity” kits for their students.
