Robert Langdon MD, Board Certified Dermatologist and Cosmetic Surgeon announced today that The Langdon Center for Laser & Cosmetic Surgery in Guilford, CT will launch Body-Jet® Water-Assisted Liposuction at a Free Beauty Event.

Guilford, CT (Vocus) January 18, 2010 -- Nationally recognized, board certified cosmetic surgeon Dr. Robert Langdon, announced today that The Langdon Center is launching the most recent alternative to traditional liposuction: Body-Jet® Water-Assisted Liposuction. This new procedure, exclusively available in Connecticut at The Langdon Center, will be featured at their upcoming Educational Seminar taking place on Thursday, January 21, 2010 at The Langdon Center in Guilford, CT.

The Body-Jet® Liposuction system performs water-jet assisted liposuction, a procedure recently approved by the FDA. This revolutionary alternative to traditional liposuction is gentle, fast and effective with excellent body contouring results. The procedure, first developed in Germany in 2000 and popular throughout Asia and Europe since 2004, uses pressurized water to “wash away” fat cells from the extracellular matrix that holds the fat together. This allows the fat cells to be removed gently for maximum patient safety and comfort.
