Bloom Health and Christensen Group Partner Together to Deliver Innovative Solution
Date:6/29/2010

Bloom Health provides Christensen Group with flexible solutions for employers who want to provide health benefits and control costs.

Minneapolis, MN (PRWEB) June 29, 2010 -- Bloom Health is partnering with the Christensen Group, one of the largest independent insurance and employee benefits brokers in the Midwest, to offer customized defined contribution health care solutions to Christensen Group’s customers.

“As we launch in Minnesota, it was important to us to partner with the very best brokers, those who bring real value to their customers” said Abir Sen, chief executive officer (CEO) for Bloom Health. “Christensen Group clearly fit the bill, and we are delighted to include them in our preferred broker network.”

“We know first hand that employers are looking for innovative ways to finance and administer their benefits programs,” said Randy Morgan, of Christensen Group. “Bloom Health allows Christensen Group to offer companies of all sizes a solution perfectly in tune with their needs.”

Bloom Health offers an affordable solution to simplifying how employers and their employees select and pay for health insurance and other health services. Bloom Health first works with employers to determine a reasonable and affordable amount to spend on employee health insurance. Employers then deposit pre-tax dollars on behalf of each employee into a Bloom Health account.

Employees participate via Bloom Health's friendly health and financial assessment, which generates a list of recommended health insurance plans as well as health and wellness services that match an employee's specific needs. Employees then choose a health plan and any related services based on desired cost, coverage and features, and pay for insurance and other programs directly from their Bloom Health accounts.

Bloom Health launched in May 2010 with a strong roster of clients, and is also evaluating partnership opportunities with a select number of health insurance brokers.
