Biomet Hip Replacement Lawsuits: Bernstein Liebhard LLP Notes Upcoming Status Conference in Federal Biomet Hip Litigation

Bernstein Liebhard LLP notes the scheduling of the next case management conference in the federal litigation of Biomet hip replacement lawsuits established in the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Indiana. According to a Memorandum issued by the Court on March 20, the status conference will be held April 22nd at 9:30 a.m. Claims filed in this multidistrict litigation were brought on behalf of patients who allege injuries stemming from the metal-on-metal Biomet M2a Magnum hip implant. (In re: Biomet M2a Magnum Hip Implant Products Liability Litigation – MDL No. 2391)

The last status conference in this litigation was held March 18th and discussed a range of issues related to the Biomet M2a Magnum hip replacement, according to the Memorandum. Production of electronically stored information and modifications to the Plaintiffs’ Fact Sheet were among the items addressed.

As we continue to hear from Biomet hip replacement recipients who claim to have suffered hip implant failure and other complications, we look forward to seeing additional progress in this proceeding,” says Bernstein Liebhard LLP, a nationwide law firm representing victims of defective drugs and medical devices.
The Firm is actively filing Biomet hip lawsuits in the federal litigation on behalf of individuals allegedly injured by the metal-on-metal Biomet M2a Magnum hip replacement.
