BioSpace Launches the 2010 Biotech Beach Hotbed Campaign

BioSpace, the leading resource for life science careers and information, unveiled the eleventh edition of the Biotech Beach™ Hotbed Campaign this morning.

Englewood, CO (Vocus) October 1, 2009 -- BioSpace, the leading resource for life science careers and information, unveiled the eleventh edition of the Biotech Beach™ Hotbed Campaign this morning.

This regional campaign is a promotional effort highlighting biotechnology, pharmaceutical and medical device industries in San Diego and Southern California. It features printed and electronic maps as well as online profiles that showcase companies across the life sciences. The 2010 Biotech Hotbed map is available here. The map displays the location, logos and building images of participating businesses and is distributed to industry professionals at regional and international events throughout the year.

Biotech sponsors for this year's campaign include Novartis and BIOCOM. Other campaign organizations include Pfizer Inc., Genencor International, Inc., Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc., Takeda Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd. and Bayer Corporation.

Detailed, online profiles of all participating businesses include contact information, career opportunities, financial updates and company history. Additional campaign specifics are listed on the Biotech Beach homepage, which features daily biopharmaceutical news and information from the region.
