BioSpace, the leading resource for life science careers and information, unveiled the thirteenth edition of the Biotech Bay™ Hotbed Campaign this morning.

Englewood, CO (Vocus) August 30, 2009 -- BioSpace, the leading resource for life science careers and information, unveiled the thirteenth edition of the Biotech Bay™ Hotbed Campaign this morning.

This regional campaign is a promotional effort highlighting biotechnology, pharmaceutical and medical device industries in San Francisco and northern California. It features printed and electronic maps as well as online profiles that showcase companies across the life sciences. The 2009-2010 Biotech Hotbed map is available here. The map displays the location, logos and building images of participating businesses and is distributed to industry professionals at regional and international events throughout the year.

Biotech sponsors for this year's campaign include BayBio and Novartis. Other campaign organizations include Gilead Sciences, Inc., Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc. and Bayer HealthCare.

Detailed, online profiles of all participating businesses include contact information, career opportunities, financial updates and company history. Additional campaign specifics are listed on the '/>"/>
